Apartments in the blocks between the railway station and the city center: on Horodotska, Zaliznychna, Korotka, Holubovycha, Marka Vovchka and Shevchenka streets. The station is nine to eighteen minutes on foot or a few minutes by taxi; the Opera House is a tram ride along Horodotska or a walk of about fifteen to twenty minutes.
Convenient if you arrive on a night train or leave on an early one: check-in is round the clock. This is not the pedestrian center. There are studios for two and apartments for four or five, including VIP-class ones on Horodotska.

This is not the tourist center but ordinary city blocks, and it gets busier closer to the station. The new buildings here are on Shevchenka and Holubovycha streets: elevator, fresh renovation, some apartments with a terrace.
